ABOUT US
Kennylands Gymnastics was founded in 2014 following the successful merging of Thames Valley Gymnastics Club and Tilehurst Gymnastics Club. The merging of the two clubs enabled the further development of both clubs, with the emphasis on recreation and preschool gymnastics for all and a developing Women's Artistic competitive discipline. The club has gone from strength to strength with a considerable waiting list in place for recreation classes and several county and regional champions. Throughout its development, Kennylands Gymnastics has never lost sight of the values on which it was founded; to provide a unique opportunity for learning the value of determination, commitment and perseverance and ultimately discover a passion for life!
our facilities
We are a fully purpose-built facility based in the Oxfordshire countryside, just outside Reading.
Originally a school, the facility was repurposed in the 80's to form it's first gymnastics club, named The Dorian Centre.
Since then, the club has changed hands to Su & Roger Newton, who successfully ran Thames Valley Gymnastics Club for many years.
In 2014, the club was taken over by Rebecca Taylor of Tilehurst Gymnastics Club who merged Thames Valley Gymnastics Club with Tilehurst to form Kennylands Gymnastics.
